Events abound at Turkey Run State Park. From historic home tours, to guided nature and wildlife walks, to themed camping weekends – there are lot of events for you at Turkey Run State Park.
Turkey Run State Park Events
The Nature Center offers all kinds of naturalist services, including guided nature and wildlife hikes, Star Shows in the planetarium, historic Lusk Home tours, history talks and more. The Park also hosts events like Halloween Weekends, featuring a campsite decorating contest and Trick or Treating. Click the button below for more information on events at Turkey Run State Park.
Church Services
Non-denominational services are held at the Log Church every Sunday at 10 am (during the warmer months). They generally begin after Good Friday and continue until August.
To reach the Log Church (also called Oak Ridge Chapel), take Trail 11 near the Inn, walk across the concrete Old Highway Bridge and follow the wide gravel path up the hill to the church.
